HAS BEEN RENAMED THE
MARION BOAN COMMUNITY CENTER
On Monday, March 18th, 2019, Town Council unanimously voted to rename the Kershaw Recreation Center located in Stevens Park as the Marion Boan Community Center.
“Mr. Boan dedicated his life to the people of Kershaw. I can’t think of a more fitting tribute,” said Town Mayor Mark Dorman. Boan’s son, Billy, daughter-in-law Jean, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were all at the meeting to hear the announcement.
